More about Tao
Gang Meng

Gang Meng

Postdoctoral Researcher

Gang joins the TEL group as a postdoctoral researcher starting October 2025. He studies light-matter interaction theory and performs molecular simulations with EM fields. Before joining the TEL group, Gang completed his Ph.D. and a year of postdoctoral training at the University of Science and Technology of China. His research there focused on energy transfer dynamics during molecule scattering from metals and hot-carriers driven reactions at plasmonic interfaces.

In his free time, Gang enjoys playing soccer and running.

Mathew Chow

Mathew Chow

Postdoctoral Researcher

Mathew joins the TEL group as a postdoctoral researcher in July 2026 and works on developing artificial intelligence technologies for scientific computing through the FermiLink framework. Prior to joining the TEL group, Mathew completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Yale University where he worked on developing methods for simulating nuclear quantum effects in the condensed phase using multicomponent electronic structure theory. During his graduate studies, he also completed a coding internship at Q-Chem. Outside the lab, his hobbies include reading, biking, and driving.
